When it comes to activity checks, you will lose your claim if..
-You have not updated your journal since six months before I do the check.
-I cannot find your claim in your profile.
-You are no longer a member of the community.
Of course, a claim should be displayed in your profile, as that's essentially what a claim is. As far as claims go, I look for them in your profile itself. If it's not in your profile, I look for a link to a post in your journal that's either about you or your claims, or something similar. This is fine, too! If it's not there, I take a look in your journal itself for a top entry. If it's not there, I decide I cannot find your claim.
You are free to reclaim once again. Simply post like you are claiming for the first time!
Also, if I made a mistake, feel free to PM me or comment here with what I made the mistake on, what your claim's name was, and what fandom they are from. I will fix it up for you!
I do activity checks because many people have logged in once or twice to the site, made a journal, a few claims, and never returned. I feel it's fair to open claims to those who are occasionally active over those who never return. A post once every six months is a very fair way to say "I am active".
And if you leave the community, it seems you don't wish to participate anymore, which is fine, too.
Let me know if there are any concerns!
