rules question

Okay, people. I've been thinking and how do we feel about RP journals? Personally, I'd rather the claims be by personal journals, but I'd like to see how the rest of you feel before making a decision one way or another. (If any of the journals that have joined so far are RP journals, you'd be able to keep your claims. I just wouldn't approve any more.)

I'd be kind of surprised if anyone had set up an RP journal already, given the limited number of invites, but I see what you mean.

I don't think anyone would've had an RP account yet, but I wanted to clarify that if this did become a rule, it wouldn't be retroactively applied to people I had already approved.

...erm, sorry, back to the discussion:

I'd rather keep it Real People who happen to identify with Fictional People rather than full-on RPing, but if that's just me, I'll go with whatever the majority feels.

Yeah, having RP journals reserve fictional people just seems pointless.

I'd be inclined to say no to RP journals. It seems to miss the point rather. Just my opinion of course! ;-)

That was what I thought, too.

Part of the reason RP journals were not allowed on the one on LJ (/former admin! [good job so far, btw, I would have wanted to kill myself so far xD]) was because it completely defeats the point of the comm. It's supposed to be a claiming community, like otp and the like.

Besides, it's funner with personal accounts.
